Birne, Schädel & Haupt: Crowdfunding

Hi there,

Birne, Schädel & Haupt is now open for funding – for crowdfunding. Check out many amazing perks that you will receive when contributing to the charming and funny web-series by Neuer Österreichischer Trickfilm. It starts with eternal gratefulness or a greeting card and ends with a whole character modelled right after you.

The current episode is featuring the creators of the series and also acts as the crowdfunding introductory video for the current crowdfunding call. You can find the campaign here:

…and the video is right here, if you like:

As always, I was responsible for music and sound…

All the best,
Alexander.

Birne, Schädel & Haupt -Episode 3

Hi there,

for our German-speaking friends: Here is the 3rd episode of Benjamin Swiczinsky’s “Birne, Schädel & Haupt”, the animated web-series by “Neuer Österreichischer Trickfilm”. This month features a sly and evil editor, who wants to create a web-series, featuring the three-headed “Trickfilmer”-eagle. On a sidenote – the actor speaking the editor should be quite familiar (it was my biggest part as a voice talent so far 🙂 ).

So don’t miss this month’s episode and check out the evil editor, who is featuring a very characteristic slang (similarities may be intended, but are still just similarities…). Enjoy!

all the best,
Alexander.

Birne, Schädel & Haupt – Episode 2

Hi y’all!

And now the next month has begun and the latest rendition of Benjamin’s three-headed eagle is online, check it out here.

This time the intern takes over and literally runs the whole…show. While the first two parts have been done in advance, I am now looking forward to the third part, that i’ll get to finish soon…

All the best,
Alexander.

Incouts – Früher war alles anders

Hi y’all,

I recently did a product presentation film for the Austrian startup “Inscouts”. However, this one is a little bit different from what you would expect from a “product presentation”, it’s really a short film, and Manuel Gruber and the gang came up with a smooth story, a great cast, a terrific team and a cool concept for the music. We had a lot of fun, although it was quite a bit of work (which comes naturally when you start without a proper briefing). I recorded guitars, violin and some more stuff with my dad, and Manuel asked his brother and his brother’s friends to help out with the horns. But you may want to check it out yourself, here it is:

Wiener Zeitung – commercials for the world’s oldest newspaper

hi there,

i recently finished a few spots (web, and so far also one of them for cinema) for Wiener Zeitung the world’s oldest newspaper.

this paper is now in danger of going bankrupt, since our vice chancellor is considering to cancel the mandatory publishing of laws and other official information in the Wiener Zeitung. Paid content that obviously makes a considerable part of the paper’s revenue.

anyway, just before that suggestion went public, the nice folks at Wiener Zeitung decided to do a little campaign with Neuer Österreichischer Trickfilm, a company that is run by friends of mine. who, naturally, asked me to do sound and music. so here’s the first spot that has been released – enjoy!

all the best,
Alexander.

twingz – a little teaser…

hi there!

quite recently i did a little spot for twingz – the twitter of things, an austrian startup company that basically makes your coffee machine, refrigerator, lights or whatever you like twitter-controllable through the internet. the project was done on very short notice and there was virtually no time to do sound and music, so i gave it a quick shot using stutter edit by izotope. the video above is what came out, i hope you like it. btw: the spot was done by viralvideo.

c u soon!

all the best,
Alexander.
